JP036Kabushima islet

Site Description

Coastline; Grassland

On the rocky surface of Kabushima islet, which is located in the southeast of Aomori Prefecture, rape flowers flourish on the sparse deposits. The islet is connected with the main land by a road, so it looks like a cape. One side of the road is a fishery port and the other side a sandy beach. Ria coasts begin from the end of the beach. Seaweed is cultivated in the sea.
