Site Description

Artificial landscapes (terrestrial); Wetlands

Otomonuma, located in the northwestern part of Akita Prefecture, is a farm pond with depth of water at about 2 m. There are reed beds. Low hills lie in the north and south. In the north are forests of Pinus thunbergii and Quercus serrata, and shrubs. In the south are forests of Pinus thunbergii and Cyryptomeria japonica.
